Blueair Air purifier has made the dramatic transition from a simple 4 position switch to an elegant electricity controlled air cleaner with remote control. The 650E is essentially the Blueair 603 with a completely updated control system. Not only are all of the systems controllable via a remote, but, the condition of the air and smells in a room are reported. There is also a timer built in to the control panel. This is done by using a more open HEPA filter that allows the air to pass more freely through the air purifiers. The trick is that Blueair uses electrostatic brushes in the 650E air purifiers. These brushes charge the particulates prior to their passage through the HEPA filters.
