1. Which units use the ECO10 Particle Filter?
    The ECO10 Particle Filter is designed to fit the Blueair ECO10.

2. How do I change my filter?
    To change the filter on a the ECO10, remove the top of the unit to reveal the filters. Remove the top filter and then slide out the additional filters on each side. When inserting the new filters, follow the labels on the filter packaging to assure they are facing the correct way. Don’t worry about which filter is placed where, they’re all the same.

3. How do I know when I need to change the filter in my manual unit?
    Your magnetic filter timer will keep track of when your filter needs to be changed; its LED light will flash to notify you every six months or 188 days.

4. How do I reset the filter replacement indicator for my manual unit?
    To reset the magnetic filter timer, press and hold the “RESET” button for 10 second. The filter change indicator light will turn off and the counter will begin its countdown to the next filter change(188 days). To temporarily stop the filter indicator light for five days, press the “SNOOZE” button.

5. Can Blueair purifiers trap airborne bacteria?
    Yes, absolutely. Our filters use patented HEPASilent® technology to trap 99.97% of airborne bacteria particles down to .01 micron. The combination of mechanical and active electrostatic filtration provides an exceptionally high level of protection against airborne bacteria and ensures bacteria particles are never released back into the air. 

6. How many filters should I buy?
    To replace the filters in your ECO10 unit, you only need to purchase one filter package, containing 3 filters. Different from our other units, the ECO10 filters only need to be changed once a year.
